Baked this for my officemates... Saja bagi dorang makan2... Feedback sume kata sedap... This square if you leave it overnight lagi sedap & terasa pisangnya...

Kali ni pun pakai pisang lemak manis... Apa nak buat... Pisang emas belum balik dr belayar :)

Kuih Talam Tepung...

My 2nd attempt at making kuih talam tepung... 1st attempt kureng memuaskan... Ahkak memang surrender kuih2 tradisional nih... Motto 'belasah' ahkak tak leh pakai untuk kuih2 versi nih... Kompem tak menjadi... lol...

Dah mak suruh buat... Usahakan jugak ler walaupun tak begitu kondifen kan... Resepi kata kukus the bottom 20 minit... Ikut resepi exactly 20 minit ok... Bila ahkak carik2 dengan garfu... rupa2nya masih lembek... Hasilnya bila pour the top layer nampak ler tompok2 bottom layer terapung2 gitu... kah kah kah... But the taste sedap ok...

2nd attempt nih kira dah expert sket ler... Adjust bottom layer tu kukus lama sket... So, ni ler hasilnya... Mak kata sedap... Adik kata sedap... Anak buah pun kata sedap... Alhamdulillah...

Tebalkan the top layer? Nyum... Nyum... Kuih ni buat kat kg senang... Kelapa amek je kat luar rumah...

Tim order 2 containers of beef lasagna jugak... Dah lama tak buat lasagna... Nasib baik skill buat lasagna ada lagi... Tapi ingat2 lupa esp. the white sauce and the layering process... Tak pe pak cik 'gugel' kan ade :)

Ahkak buat xtra untuk bawak balik kg... Uih suka betul my 2nd nephew makan... Selera western si angah... :)

2nd layer... Lasagna sheet...

3rd layer... White sauce & mozarella cheese... The white sauce itself contained cheese... Tabur lagi cheese... Oh la la... Sape2 yang diet sila lari jauh2 ya... :)

Repeat the same layering process end with beef mixed... Then topped with mozarella cheese again...

Bake until kekuningan...

1 set of 50 pieces bb fruit tart order by my fren Tim... Tim kata buah campur2... So, ahkak taruk grape, kiwi & strawberry...

For my birthday (25/03), baked myself a strawberry sponge cake and turned it into peachy-strawberry trifle... Ahkak tak makan sorang2 ya... Bawak balik kg... Alhamdulillah my trifle selamat sampai kg with good condition... The verdict... Memang sodap... My niece (kakak) & nephew (angah) pun suka esp. the peaches...

Order by Deli... Birthday celebration for Edie, Liza, Shima, Wahida & Zila... February babies katanya... 5-in-1 gitu... Deli kata put all the names on top of the cake....








As usual, ahkak akan sms customer tanya how's the cake... Ahkak tukang buat je... Yang makan & rasa customer... Based on the feedback baru ler kita tau sedap ke idak... What need to be improved etc. Deli kata choc moist cake tak moist sangat... carrot cake marvelos... Terima kasih for the feedback Deli... Lepas nih ahkak kene ler buat rnd lagi cam no nak bake choc moist cake yang very rich & moist... :)

3 sets of 50 pieces mixed flavours bb cheese tart order by Ica. Ica kata nak mai pickup 9.30 pm... Usually kalau pickup malam ahkak tak bakar awal... Balik keje baru bakar so nanti customer dapat tart yang fresh... out of oven... Dah tau nak kene siapkan tart Ica by 9.30 pm... 6.40 pm still kat opis... Then balik sempat lagi tu singgah Yummie... Tau2 ler dah singgah... usha sana usha sini... Kompem ler kan tak sempat siap by 9.30 pm... Give Ica a call... ask her to come at 10.00 pm... Memang betul2 fresh out of the oven... lol





Sangat tension ya bila buat cuma ada seketul je xtra untuk ahkak ngap... Nasib baik ler tangan ni tak gatal ngap lebih... Tu pun sebab rushing nak siapkan by 10.00 pm... Tak sempat dah nak ngap... Kalau tak sure tak cukup... Bila dah relaks sket... Count balik... Ada berapa xtra boleh ahkak ngap... Tengok2 nan-ado... Nak nangis ok...

Since nak balik kg ahkak take this opportunity to try a new recipe... Tak best plak balik tangan kosong... Kang sampai kampung sure my niece & nephews tanya... Ayon bawak kek ke? Tapi dorang ni makan memilih sket... Kalau sedap laju je makan... Kalau tak kene ngan selera depa straight away cakap... Eeee... tak sedap... Sabo ajalah tau... Yang kelakarnya tu... first time try cakap tak sedap... lepas tu makan lagi leh plak cakap... sedap la ayon... Bertuah sungguh anak2 buah ahkak...

Since tengok recipe Choc Bottom Banana Squares nih kat blog The Kitchen Guardian terus teruja nak cuba... Pergi pasar malam cari pisang emas tak ada plak... Pisang emas sume dah pergi belajar gamaknya :) Yang ada pisang lemak manis je... Lemak manis pun lemak manis ler janji pisang... Belasah je... Hasilnya memang sodap...

Ahkak sengaja lebihkan pisang... So the texture lagi moist... Nyum nyum... I loike...

Ahkak tabur choc chips tak hingat... Use high quality choc chips... Will taste better...

B4 bake pic... Bake sampai top dia betul2 perang... So, top dia macam ada crust sket...

My niece & omak eh teringin nak makan tiramisu... So, buatkan lah... Dah makan boleh plak si kakak tu kata kakak pening ler makan cream dia... Adoi ler anak buah ahkak... Macam2... End up ahkak ler jugak kene makan tiramisu tuh...

Order by Niza. 1 for her auntie and another 1 untuk dia makan sendiri. At first nak order 1 whole cake tapi kang cam no plak nak bagi the cake to her auntie. Cam kelakar plak dia kata kalau belah cake tu dua. So she said bake the cake into 2 small pans.

My 2nd attempt at making macarons... The 1st attempt, hasilnya cam tak berapa memuaskan... This time around ahkak pakai swiss meringue technique follow recipe kat blog Rima. Alhamdulillah, the macaron texture better compare than the 1st time buat. But still not purfek... Kena cuba try test lagi... Not so soon... Have to balance my blood sugar level dulu before giving macaron another try... :)
